Costume Factory has the largest range of costumes for hire in Melbourne in five stores -
Melbourne CBD, Kensington, Croydon, Dandenong & Nunawading.
We are open from Monday to Saturday (closed on Sundays & public holidays), opening hours vary in each store so check our Trading Hours before you come in. Customer service is our priority and iwe will take as much time as you need to find the perfect costume. For this reason, our changing rooms close for new fittings one hour before the store closes.
The photos in our Gallery can help you find the costume that’s just right for you! But this is only a sample of what we can do - there are just too many possibilities to include a photo of everything!
We have books & ideas lists in store to inspire you, but even then we still haven't covered it all. Ask our friendly team to help you - there are just so many costumes to choose from!
You can book a costume up three weeks ahead of collection. A small non refundable booking deposit is required and this is deducted from the remaining hire when you come in to collect.
The average cost of hire for all our costumes is $80 - $100 for one to three nights (including a wig & accessories) although some special costumes are a little more. The security bond is usually $100 per costume, refunded when the costume is returned on time and in good condition. You can pay for your hire & bond by cash, credit card or EFTPOS, and don't forget to bring in some photo ID!
