Located at our huge costume warehouse in Kensington, Victoria, just 10 minutes from the Melbourne CBD, Costume Factory specialises in costume hire for theatre productions, television & film, schools, corporate & promotional events. No job is too big or small.
We have many schools & theatrical companies who return to us for their costumes every year. In the past year alone we have costumed over two hundred shows for theatre companies, schools & corporate customers. We'd be delighted to discuss your requirements.
For example, we costumed Cairns Little Theatre's production of Amadeus. With Australia's largest collection of theatrical costumes at our disposal, our team of costume professionals at Kensington were able to send over 150 costumes & powdered wigs to Queensland for the entire cast.
If you need 5, 50 or 150 costumes, we can help. We offer discounts for extended/group hires and have a delivery service that will ship the costumes to wherever you need them to be - labeled and ready to wear, complete with all accessories & wigs. Because our costume designers and wig stylists work on site, everything can be prepared to your specific requirements.
We have outfitted productions right across Australia and even as far away as London! Even if you are unable to visit us at Kensington, you can use our sizing charts for each member of your cast.
Our wigs are the highest quality available and we also stock a full range of top quality face & body painting supplies including Kryolan theatrical make-up. As well as providing accessories such as shoes, jewellery, gloves, hats, corsets and more, we can also assist you with advice about sourcing props and scenic art, and supply you with dancewear for your chorus line from our Dance Art stores at Croydon, Dandenong & Nunawading - as you can see, Costume Factory really is your one stop theatre shop!
